Sony has launched their latest flagship smartphones in India the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL.
It was announced at the CES 2013 earlier this year.The Xperia Z is just 0.31 inch thin and the Xperia ZL is slightly thicker at 0.39 inch.
Rest of features are similar in both the phones including a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Reality display with mobile Bravia Engine 2 at 443 ppi, 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with future OS support.
The Xperia ZL has a glowing light LED indicator below the display but Xperia Z has a stereo Speaker in that place.
Both have a 13MP camera with LED Flash, Exmor RS sensor for HDR images and video, 1080p Full HD video recording and a 2.2MP front-facing camera which is also capeble to take HD video.
Other features include 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 64GB.
The connectivity features include, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / GLONASS and NFC and PlayStation Mobile support..
The Xperia Z packs a 2330 mAh battery but Xperia ZL packs a slightly bigger battery with 2370 mAh.
Sony also offring Sony Music app that offers unlimited free music streaming and Sony LIV app that would let you watch Sony TV programs.
